Software

The following are download samples of programs I’ve worked on that I still have, there aren’t any finished projects here, either because of time constraints, or in the case of Seagulls because the company folded before and we never got past the prototype stage:

Where Seagulls Dare

Seagulls was designed as a strategy/flight sim game featuring birds instead of aircraft, with gameplay similar to carrier command, the idea was to build up your army of birds by taking over islands and building factories and other structures, the eventual aim to remove the enemy army from the island chain.

Here’s an screenshot from the game:

Plan B Redux

I started writing this game for a Retro Remakes competition, I didn’t get around to finishing it though, since I was busy doing at work and couldn’t be bothered doing more programming in the evening and weekends, the game is a remake of an old BBC Micro game called Plan B where you played a robot sent in to destroy an evil computer.

Here’s a screenshot from the remake:

DiceMan in The DiceMan Cometh

I wrote this game in just 48 hours for a Ludum Dare 48 Hour contest, the theme was random and for most people random numbers means dice, the game is a simple platform game where you roll dice to add or remove platforms from the level, and to destroy enemies.

Here’s a screenshot from the game:
